Race Description
The Race for the Greenway 5K Run / Walk is set to take place on October 27, 2024, at Hallock State Park in Riverhead, NY. Presented by Long Island Wine Country, the event invites participants to enjoy a beautiful off-road trail while raising funds for the Long Island Greenway project, a biking and pedestrian trail spanning nearly 200 miles.
Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to join this scenic event, which features a mostly flat terrain through woods, beaches, and vineyards. Participants can enjoy an after-party wine crawl, and awards will be given to the top performers in various age brackets. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee participant shirts.
