Race Description
On November 2, 2024, the inaugural Race for the Ages 5K will take place at The Fields at Saluda Shoals Park in Columbia, SC. Organized by the South Carolina Department on Aging (SCDOA) in conjunction with Fleet Feet Columbia, the event is scheduled to kickoff at 8 a.m.
The race aims to benefit the Vulnerable Adult Fund, which supports adults aged 18 and older in South Carolina who have suffered from abuse, neglect, or exploitation. With a capacity for 500 runners, participants will also have the chance to engage with sponsors and vendors, creating a community-focused experience while raising funds for a vital cause.
