Race Description
The Race for Recovery 5k Run/Walk is set to take place on May 10, 2025, at the Nankin Mills Recreation Area in Westland, MI. This event serves as a vital fundraiser for the Women In Motion initiative, which supports women in 12-step recovery programs through various networking and personal growth opportunities.
In its third annual edition, the race aims to raise funds for the Help a Sister Out program, providing financial assistance to women who need support for their retreat registration costs. Participants can look forward to packet pick-up starting at 8:00 AM, and the race will begin promptly at 9:00 AM, with medals for all finishers and refreshments available at the start and finish lines.
