Race Description
The Race For Open Space is set to take place on October 13, 2024, at the Fox Hill Nature Preserve in West Bend, Wisconsin. This event features scenic trails showcasing the beautiful fall colors and is designed to promote the conservation of open spaces in the Cedar Lakes region.
Participants can choose from a variety of distances including a 5K trail run, a 10K trail run, a 5K trail walk, or a 1-mile trail walk. Organizers anticipate a lively atmosphere as runners and walkers alike traverse the picturesque trails while potentially spotting local wildlife such as sandhill cranes and bald eagles.
