Race Description
Nortek Air Solutions in Okarche is set to host the third annual Race For A Cause Charity Event on November 9, 2024. This event aims to honor veterans and raise awareness for the alarming statistic that 22 veterans lose their lives to suicide each day. Participants can expect a supportive atmosphere with both a competitive 5k and a 1 mile walk available for all ages.
In collaboration with Mission 22, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans and their families, the event promises to be a meaningful gathering. All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and 5k runners will also earn a medal. With doors opening at 9 AM, and complimentary coffee and snacks available, the event encourages community involvement in support of veterans.
