Race Description
The Quail Trail 5K is set to take place on October 19, 2024, at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Georgia. This 5,000-meter cross country race takes participants through a hilly course that includes various running surfaces such as pea gravel, grass, dirt, red clay, and asphalt, all within the picturesque grounds of a historic plantation.
Organized by a non-profit dedicated to cultural education, the event supports the Pebble Hill Preservation Fund, contributing to the maintenance and preservation of the plantation's main house and expansive grounds. Competitors will have the chance to earn trophies and awards based on their age and gender divisions, and all participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
