Puppy Creek Fire Department “Run for a Cure” 5K

The Puppy Creek Fire Department is hosting its annual "Run for a Cure" 5K event on October 26, 2024, in Raeford, North Carolina. This charitable race aims to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer services, including free breast exams and wig assistance, for residents in Hoke County who may lack the resources for such care. Participants of all fitness levels are encouraged to join in on the fun and help support a good cause.

The event features online preregistration from June 1 to October 25, 2024, with fees set at $25 for early registrants and $30 for walk-up registration. Notably, those who register before October 4 will receive a guarantee of a race t-shirt, while all finishers will be awarded a medal.
