Race Description
The Columbia Gorge Running Club invites runners to participate in the annual Pumpkin Run 5-Miler, set for October 27, 2024. This Halloween-themed event features a scenic 5-mile course around Strawberry Island, showcasing beautiful views of the Columbia River and surrounding mountains. Participants can expect a cross-country style race predominantly on gravel paths with sections of single-track trail.
Runners are encouraged to wear costumes, with prizes awarded for the best outfits. The event welcomes all participants, with a registration fee of $20, discounted to $10 for club members. Set in the quaint community of North Bonneville, WA, the race starts and finishes at the Strawberry Island Trailhead near the local baseball field.
