Race Description
The inaugural Pullar Bear 5K run/walk is set to take place on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM. Hosted by the Yooper Running Company, the event will begin and end near the Pullar Stadium Ice Arena, located at 435 E Portage Avenue in downtown Sault Sainte Marie. Participants are encouraged to pick up their packets between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, with indoor restroom facilities available.
Registration for the Pullar Bear 5K is currently open, with various price tiers depending on the date. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Diane Peppler Resource Center, which supports survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Additionally, volunteers are welcomed to help on race day and will receive free entry to a future event hosted by the Yooper Running Company.
