Race Description
The Powisset Farm Trail Run, part of the Barn to Run Trail Race Series, will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Powisset Farm in Dover, MA. This annual fall event offers runners a chance to explore the scenic trails of Powisset Farm and Noanet Woodlands, with four race distances available: 1.5 miles, 3.1 miles, 5.6 miles, and 8.3 miles. It has gained popularity among both experienced and novice trail runners, earning recognition as one of the Ten Best Trail Races for the Fall by Sea to Summit.
In addition to the race, participants can enjoy post-race treats, including local cider donuts, making it a festive family-friendly event. Families are encouraged to bring their kids to engage in activities such as visiting farm animals and free pumpkin painting, enhancing the community spirit of the occasion.
