Race Description
The Power Mile Road Race, taking place on September 21, 2024, is set to be an exciting evening of road racing in New Orleans, Louisiana. As the 2024 RRCA Louisiana One Mile State Championship, this event is organized by the Power Miler Track Club and welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to compete in a flat and fast course at West End Park.
Last year's event successfully raised over $12,000 for charity and attracted more than 500 attendees to enjoy the festivities, with hopes to double these numbers in 2024. Participants are encouraged to aim for fast times, with awards for those who complete the mile in under seven minutes, alongside a scenic atmosphere featuring views of Lake Pontchartrain and post-race refreshments.
