Race Description
The 22nd annual Pound the Pavement for Parkinson's 5K Walk/Run is set to take place on October 19, 2024, in Springfield, MO. This year not only marks the continuation of this community-focused event but also celebrates the 25-year anniversary of the Parkinson’s Group of the Ozarks (PGO). Participants are encouraged to join in support of those affected by Parkinson's disease, fostering a sense of unity among families facing this challenge.
This event features a course starting at Graceway Baptist Church, proceeding west on Weaver Road to Battlefield First Baptist Church, and returning back. Registration is open with an entry fee of $30 for pre-registration and $35 on race day. Packet pickup will be available on October 18 from 4 PM to 7 PM at The Bodysmith and on race day from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at the starting location.
