Race Description
The Inaugural POTP 5K Run and Walk is set to take place on October 20, 2024, at the Swampscott Council On Aging. This inclusive event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, including families with strollers and leashed dogs. The event features a 5K run and a 1-mile walk, aimed at promoting communal participation and support for individuals with disabilities.
The event is part of the 'Part of the Pack' program, which aims to foster inclusivity and empowerment for individuals with disabilities within the gym community. Registration is currently open, with fees for the 5K set at $25 until October 19 and $10 for the 1-mile walk, emphasizing affordable participation for everyone. Participants can enjoy an encouraging atmosphere, ample parking, and awards for top finishers.
