Race Description
The Holiday Dash 5K is set to take place on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, along the beautiful Eastern Prom Trail in Portland, Maine. This popular annual event, presented by Martin's Point Health Care, serves as a critical fundraising initiative for Portland Trails, aiming to support 80 miles of vital trails connecting neighborhoods and providing public access to nature.
Participants of all ages are invited to join in the festive spirit, with the option to don winter-themed costumes as they run or walk the 5K course. Packet pickup will occur on December 7th and race-day morning, with post-race brunch available for registrants. Proceeds from the event are directed towards maintenance and enhancements of local trails, with an ambitious fundraising goal of $5,000 to reach this year.
