Race Description
The Pirate 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon is set to take place on October 5, 2024, at Holston River Park in Knoxville, Tennessee. This event is part of the US Road Running Club Race Series, welcoming runners of all levels without requiring club membership for participation. Registration is currently open and participants are encouraged to sign up through RunSignup as there is no on-site registration available.
The race features multiple distances including a scenic 5K, 10K, and a half marathon, each following a marked out-and-back course. Finishers will be awarded themed medals, and participants are encouraged to wear costumes, with a prize for the best costume. The event aims to create a fun and festive running atmosphere while promoting community engagement and fitness.
