Race Description
The Pirate race event, featuring distances of 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 15K, and a Half Marathon, is scheduled to take place at Clawson-Burnley Park in Boone, North Carolina on April 26, 2025. Organized by the US Road Running Club, this family-friendly event encourages participants of all abilities to join, regardless of their club membership status.
The race will start at 8:30 AM, with packet pickup available from 8:00 AM to 8:20 AM. Each race distance features an out-and-back course, with specific completion requirements: the Half Marathon will need four laps, while the 15K, 10K, and 5K will be completed over three, two, and one laps respectively. Participants will receive finisher medals and are encouraged to come in costume for a chance to win a special award.
