Race Description
The Pirate 1M, 5K, 10K, 15K, & Half Marathon will be held on October 5, 2024, at Sarg Hubbard Park in Yakima, Washington. This race is part of the US Road Running Race Series and participants do not need to be club members to participate. The event will start at 8:00 AM and there will be no on-site registration, requiring all runners to register online ahead of time.
Participants can enjoy various race distances, including a themed 1-mile course and longer 5K, 10K, 15K, and half marathon options, which are all designed as out-and-back courses. Finishers will receive medals and there will be an award for the best costume, as participants are encouraged to embrace the theme. The event also offers accommodation discounts for travelers at a nearby hotel.
