Race Description
The Pirate 1M, 5K, 10K, 15K, & Half Marathon is set to take place on October 5, 2024, at Paul Boorman Trail Park in Longview, Texas. This race is part of the US Road Running Race Series and welcomes both club members and non-members to participate. Runners can look forward to well-organized events with various distances to accommodate participants of all levels.
The race will commence at 8:00 AM, with packet pickup starting 30 minutes prior and closing 10 minutes before the event. Notably, the courses for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon are designed as out-and-back routes, allowing participants to enjoy scenic views. Finishers will receive themed medals, and attendees are encouraged to don costumes for a chance to win a best costume award.
