Race Description
The Piney Woods Ultra is set to take place at Tyler State Park, which is renowned for its East Texas pine forest. Participants will experience diverse single-track trails that wind through 100-foot-tall pines and dense forests, challenging their footing amidst rolling hills and tangles of tree roots. The event is an ideal test of endurance and skill for trail running enthusiasts.
Scheduled for September 28, 2024, the Piney Woods Ultra promises an invigorating challenge due to the area's humidity, elevation changes, and technical trails. Upon completing the race, runners can enjoy a refreshing swim in a 64-acre spring-fed lake, providing a perfect recovery spot after tackling the demanding course.
