Race Description
The Pine Belt Pacers 25th Anniversary Run is scheduled to take place on October 5, 2024, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. This celebratory run, established to honor the running organization founded in 1999, invites participants for a unique experience that emphasizes community and connection rather than competition. Despite featuring a time clock, the event will not include a traditional race format or awards ceremony, making it a festive gathering for runners and walkers alike.
Participants can choose between two run options: a 25K run starting at 7:00 a.m. and a 2.5-mile run or walk starting at 8:00 a.m. The event will be held at the Jackson Station on Longleaf Trace, with an exciting after party planned to promote camaraderie among attendees. Breakfast-style foods, pastries, and drinks will be provided, and a limited number of anniversary T-shirts can be purchased during registration, with the deadline for guaranteed availability set for September 18, 2024.
