Race Description
The Pawtuxet River 5k: Run of the Mills is set to take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Coventry, Rhode Island. This family-friendly event invites participants to walk, run, roll, or stroll along the scenic banks of the Pawtuxet River, enjoying the picturesque views of nature and historical landmarks along the route.
Organized by the Pawtuxet River Authority and Watershed Council, the event aims to promote environmental sustainability while supporting local conservation efforts. All proceeds from the race will benefit the organization’s initiatives to protect and restore the river's ecosystem. Bib pick up will begin at 7am, and the race will start at 8am, located adjacent to Rice Memorial Field.
