Race Description
The 'Paws & Soles Saving Lives with Strides 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run' took place on October 15, 2023, at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ. This event, organized by the Friends of Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, aimed to raise funds for the Cupid Fund, which supports shelter animals in need of extraordinary medical treatment.
Participants enjoyed a day of running or walking on a USATF-NJ Certified Course, accompanied by vendors, a K-9 demonstration, and a kiddie dash. The event highlighted an inclusive atmosphere, welcoming both human and canine participants, while promoting animal welfare and community spirit.
