Race Description
The upcoming Paws for Life race is set to take place on October 5, 2024, in Wake Forest, North Carolina. This annual event features a main 5K race beginning at 10 am, followed by a fun 1-mile walk for participants and their dogs, fostering a community spirit while raising funds for animal welfare.
Last year's event saw over 150 participants with Matthew Oconnor finishing first in the 5K with a time of 19:25. Proceeds from this year's event will benefit Paws for Life Animal Rescue, aiming to support the construction of a new animal shelter, ensuring safe haven for pets until they can find permanent homes.
