Race Description
The Parkway Subaru Battleship Half Marathon, alongside the GFL 10K and 5K events, is scheduled to take place on November 17, 2024, in Wilmington, North Carolina. This race, which takes participants through the historic downtown area, celebrates its long history as one of the oldest half marathons in the South, having started in 1998.
Runners will commence at the Water Street Park, with additional attractions including beer for participants aged 21 and over, finisher medals, and a complimentary gift card for waffles at Wilmington's Waffle House. All race participants will enjoy free entry to the Battleship North Carolina, providing a unique opportunity to experience history firsthand.
