Race Description
The P.A.I.L. Remembrance & Awareness Walk is scheduled to be hosted by Alive In My Heart, Miles’ Mission, Columbus Public Health, and Nationwide Children's Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Genoa Park in Columbus, Ohio. This event aims to raise awareness about the experience of Pregnancy and Infant Loss (P.A.I.L.) and honors the memories of all babies lost, fostering community support for grieving families. The walk will begin shortly after a brief presentation featuring keynote speaker Jennifer Bullock Moore.
Check-in for the event will start at 9 am, with the main presentation at 10 am, followed by a one-mile walk at approximately 10:30 am. Attendees can enjoy light snacks, water, and activities for children, as well as food options from Dos Hermanos Food Truck and Kingdom Coffee Truck. The event will be stroller-friendly; however, pets are not allowed. This initiative reflects the collective mission of several organizations to support families dealing with the heartache of pregnancy and infant loss.
