Race Description
The OWLS Fort Macon 5K Trail Run is set to take place on Saturday, March 29th, 2025. The race will feature a picturesque trail with both wooded areas and open sunshine, providing moderate elevation while offering stunning views of Beaufort Inlet, Bogue Sound, and the Atlantic Ocean throughout the course.
Hosted by the Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter, Inc. (OWLS), this event aims to raise funds for the care and rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife in North Carolina. Participants can register for $35, which includes a race t-shirt, and will have the opportunity to pick up their shirts on March 28th at the OWLS facility in Newport, NC.
