Race Description
The Outrun Violence 5K, originally scheduled for April 6, has been postponed to September 21, 2024. This race is hosted by Project X, a program aimed at reducing gun and gang violence among high-risk youth in Forsyth County, North Carolina, and will take place at Quarry Park.
Participants will complete a two-loop course, and the event is open to both runners and walkers. Awards will be given to the first three male and female finishers, while age group results will be posted for recognition only. Proceeds from the race support the initiatives of Project X, which has successfully served over 120 youth since its inception in 2020, offering a variety of critical support services.
