Race Description
The Outdoor Fest 5k, Youth Mile, & Canicross event will take place on May 31, 2025, at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds in Chesterfield, VA. This annual event is part of the Chesterfield Outdoor Fest and aims to promote outdoor activities and community engagement while introducing Richmond’s first-ever Canicross event, where participants run with their dogs.
The event will feature a flat and fast 5k course that starts and finishes at the Fairgrounds, along with an out-and-back section on a scenic paved trail, making it a pleasant experience for both runners and spectators. Alongside the main race, there will also be a kid's mile, and the festival will include entertainment, food trucks, and various outdoor activities, creating a fun atmosphere for all participants and families.
