Race Description
The Operation Changing Lives 5K Run and Walk is set to take place on January 4, 2025, at the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse in Florida. This charitable event aims to support non-profit initiatives that provide essential reconstructive surgeries for individuals with facial disfigurements due to various conditions. Organizers expect to gather a large community of runners and walkers to raise funds and awareness, emphasizing their mission of compassion and care.
Participants can register for the event online, with pre-registration fees set at $30 and $35 on the race day. The event is scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m., with check-in beginning at 6:45 a.m. There will also be a Kiddie Dash for younger participants. In addition to the competitive aspect, the race will feature handmade awards, refreshments, and a festive atmosphere with a DJ on site. Registered participants are encouraged to pick up their race packets early to secure their shirts and goodies.
