Race Description
The Evanston Running Club is set to host the Open Cross Country Races at Canal Shores on November 3, 2024, in Evanston, Illinois. This popular event allows runners of all ages to participate, including a special timed fun run at 9:00 AM, a competitive open race at 10:00 AM, and a masters race for older participants at 11:00 AM.
In memory of the late Mr. John Hennelly, the races will feature the John Hennelly Memorial Top Finisher Awards for top finishers and winning teams, adding a special honor to the competition. Participants are encouraged to donate to the Canal Shores Golf Course to support their community and fundraising efforts. Registration is now open for the first 300 entrants until October 31, 2024.
