Race Description
The Foley Sister Cities Commission is set to host the 2nd Annual Oktoberfest 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at OWA, starting at 9 AM. This event aims to raise funds for student trips and various initiatives related to sister cities, encouraging participants to dress in traditional German attire such as dirndl and lederhosen, with beer and pretzels available for participants.
Awards will be given for top finishers in each age group for both the run and walk portions of the event, with three deep recognition for male and female categories ranging from 10 and under to 80+. The event is designed not only to promote fitness but also to foster community spirit while celebrating the Oktoberfest tradition.
