Race Description
Join us on Sunday, October 6th, for the Oglebay 0.5k Beer Dash during the Oglebayfest weekend in Wheeling, WV. This fun run invites participants to navigate a 0.5k course around Schenk Lake while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere and perhaps a beverage or two.
With registration set to open at 10 AM at the Rathskeller/Hess Shelter, participants will receive two free beers and a souvenir Oglebay mug. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in both men's and women's divisions, with the unique twist that placement will factor in the amount of beer left in participants' mugs at the finish line. Please ensure to bring a valid ID as participants must be 21 to consume alcoholic beverages.
