Race Description
The North Port High School Zombie 5k is set to take place on October 31, 2024, in North Port, Florida. This unique event invites participants to run a 5k course while being chased by zombies, adding an exhilarating twist to the traditional race format. Runners who manage to finish with their flags receive a medal declaring, 'I Survived the Zombie 5k.'
The event features various registration options, starting at $30 for early registration, with day-of registration priced at $55. Participants are encouraged to register online, as cash payments will not be accepted. The race will begin at 6:30 PM, with check-in starting at 5:15 PM. Along with the thrilling run, awards will be presented in different age categories following the race, and all proceeds will benefit the North Port Cross Country and VPA programs.
