Race Description
The Noquemanon Ski Marathon, a prominent event in the world of cross country skiing, will return in 2025, continuing its tradition of attracting elite and recreational skiers alike. Known for its scenic point-to-point course spanning 50K or 24K, the marathon takes place from Ishpeming to Marquette, Michigan, along the stunning shores of Lake Superior.
This popular event offers a variety of race formats, including separate classic and freestyle races for both the marathon and half marathon, as well as options for relay, junior/youth races, and an adaptive skiing event. With over a thousand participants each year, the Noquemanon is not just a race, but a celebration of winter sports and community spirit in Marquette County.
