Race Description
The Newport Resolution Run & Polar Bear Plunge invites runners and thrill-seekers to welcome 2025 with an exciting event featuring three race distances: a Half Marathon, a 10k, and a 5k. Set in Newport, Oregon, this event promises a mix of speed on the flat courses and adventure with challenging single-track trails on the half marathon route.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to celebrate their accomplishment by plunging into the chilly waters of the Pacific Ocean upon crossing the finish line. With options to stay dry or take the plunge, the event is designed to encourage embracing challenges and enjoying the thrill of the new year.
