Race Description
The New Year racing event featuring distances of 1 mile, 5K, 10K, 15K, and a half marathon will take place at Baseline Trailhead Park in Ocala, Florida on January 1, 2025. This race, organized by the US Road Running Club, is open to both club members and non-members, though members receive a discount and special race merchandise.
Participants can expect a paved out-and-back course with packet pickup starting at 8:00 AM. Notably, all runners must register online, as there will be no on-site registration available. The event promises themed finisher medals and an opportunity for participants to showcase their creativity with a best costume contest, alongside strict race rules ensuring safety and a smooth experience.
