Race Description
The New Horizons Annual Race for Recovery is set to take place on September 21, 2024, at the IRSC Pruitt Campus in Port St. Lucie, Florida. This annual event includes a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile walk, attracting participants eager to support mental health services. The race features a fast and fun 5K route, and is organized to provide support to community members impacted by mental or behavioral health issues.
Participants can register for the race until September 15, 2024, at a fee of $35, increasing to $40 thereafter. All participants will receive a tech t-shirt, swag, and refreshments, in addition to enjoying live music. Proceeds from the event support local residents in need of mental health or addiction recovery services, highlighting the race's commitment to community well-being.
