Race Description
North Carolina Urban Mushing is set to host its inaugural Canicross Race on December 14th, 2024, at Grigsby Ave in Holly Springs, NC. This unique event is designed for all dog lovers, whether they are competing for glory or simply enjoying a day out with their furry friends. Participants will navigate a fully outdoor course suitable for runners with or without dogs, ensuring a fun and engaging experience.
Every participant will receive a finisher medal and a logo t-shirt, with awards for the top three in various categories including Male, Female, Non-binary, and Junior. The event emphasizes safety and inclusivity, featuring a rolling start to minimize crowding.
