Race Description
The 36th Annual Mr Ed's Superbowl Warm-up 5k is set to take place on February 9, 2025, in Middleport, NY. This highly anticipated community event will feature a certified 5-kilometer canal-side race scheduled to start at 11:30 AM, along with a one-mile fun run and a 5K walk beginning at 11:00 AM and 10:00 AM respectively. This event is renowned for its vibrant post-race party, promising a festive atmosphere for all participants.
The race provides incentives for early registrants, offering collector's item long-sleeved T-shirts to the first 300 participants. Various awards will be distributed across multiple categories including overall, masters, and grand masters, alongside ribbons for untimed fun-run participants and walkers. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Middleport Volunteer Fire Company Scholarship Fund, continuing a tradition of community support since 1990, having raised over $125,500 for local students and initiatives.
