Race Description
The Mountaineer 5K is set to take place on March 22, 2025, at the Summit Academy Junior High School in Chandler, Arizona. This 5-kilometer race encourages participation from runners, walkers, and wheelchair users, though pets are not permitted. The event aims to support the athletics and clubs of Summit Academy Mountaineers, helping to provide students with opportunities to compete and develop teamwork skills.
Participants can expect a fun and well-planned event, with amenities such as a custom finishers medal, a race t-shirt, and post-race food and drinks. The course is described as fast and flat, beginning at the school and running mostly along the canal. Registration is currently open and will also be available on the race day, although shirt sizes are not guaranteed for same-day registrants.
