Race Description
The Mountain Valley Turkey Trot 2024 is set to take place on November 23, 2024, in La Grande, Oregon. This year, participants can join in a 3.2 mile fun run or walk through the scenic Island City area, starting and ending at the Mountain Valley Therapy parking lot. This family-friendly event promotes physical activity and community involvement through its support of SoleKIDS La Grande, a local non-profit organization.
Organized by MVT/MVFH, the Turkey Trot has become a cherished Thanksgiving tradition, welcoming participants of all ages to engage in healthy activities while supporting a noble cause. Registration is currently open, and potential participants are encouraged to sign up online. All proceeds from the event will go directly to SoleKIDS, which aims to enhance physical activity among school children.
