Race Description
The Mount Dora Half Marathon & 5K is set to take place in the picturesque town of Mount Dora, Florida. The event offers participants the chance to run through scenic waterfront neighborhoods and alongside tree-lined streets. Participants can look forward to catching glimpses of the rising sun filtered through Spanish moss as they navigate the gentle rolling hills of the course.
Scheduled for December 21-22, 2024, the event includes a 5K run/walk on Saturday and a half marathon on Sunday. Both races will start from Elizabeth Evans Park, with the half marathon being USATF Certified. This year’s event will also support local initiatives, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the FFA and Cheerleading Team of Mount Dora High School and the Run 4 a Cause Foundation.
