Race Description
The annual Moosehorn Ghost Run Half-Marathon and Relay is set to take place on October 27, 2024, at the Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge in Baileyville, Maine. Participants can choose to run the half-marathon solo or form relay teams while enjoying the scenic wilderness paths frequented by diverse wildlife. Registration is currently open, but slots are limited in order to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all runners.
In its 9th year, the Moosehorn Ghost Run not only offers an immersive running experience but also encourages local engagement through its Youth Runners Program, allowing young participants to join for free. With early registration discounts available until September 1, runners are encouraged to sign up soon to secure their spot. The course showcases the unique natural beauty of the refuge, with a chance to see moose, deer, and other wildlife along the way.
