Race Description
The Moonlight on the Falls marathon, scheduled for August 23-24, 2025, at Blackwater Falls State Park in Tucker County, West Virginia, promises an exciting nighttime running experience. Runners can participate in a variety of events including a marathon, half marathon, quarter marathon, and a unique Distance Challenge featuring an ultra-marathon option. Participants are encouraged to revel in the scenic beauty of the park while enjoying the cool summer temperatures.
This year’s event will require all runners to wear a reflective vest and carry a headlamp for safety, while an exciting festival atmosphere is planned for pre-race festivities, complete with live music and local vendors.
