Race Description
The Monster Dash 5K & 1Mi. Fun Walk, presented by Coosa Valley Lodge 14 of the Fraternal Order of Police, is set to take place on October 26, 2024, at Georgia Highlands College in Rome, Georgia. The event aims to support the Christmas with Cops initiative, which provides gifts to needy children during the holidays. Registration for the race is currently open, with early bird rates available until October 5.
Participants can look forward to a scenic and flat course, with the 5K race starting at 6:30 PM followed by a 1-mile fun walk at 7:30 PM. Post-race festivities will include age group awards presentations and refreshments, fostering a community spirit while raising funds for a worthy cause. This year's event aims to surpass last year's total of $17,000 raised for local children.
