Race Description
The Mohawk Towpath Byway Duathlon is set to take place on October 20, 2024, featuring a 2-mile run, a 12-mile bike ride, and a final 2-mile run along the scenic route of the Mohawk Towpath Byway in Rexford, NY. This USA Triathlon sanctioned event encourages participants to enjoy the beautiful surrounding landscape while competing.
Organized by the Friends of the Mohawk Towpath Scenic Byway, this event aims to increase awareness and enjoyment of the scenic, recreational, and historical resources along the Mohawk River and Erie Canal corridor. Registrants will also have the chance to receive commemorative items as the first 150 to sign up will be rewarded.
