Race Description
The 2nd Annual Michael Moore Type1 (MMT1) Diabetes Foundation 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for November 9, 2024, in downtown Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. This year’s event coincides with Veterans Day, and participants are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to honor veterans. The race will take place on a new USATF Certified Course that starts at Fort Gibson Park.
Participants can register for the event until October 18 to guarantee a t-shirt. Early bird registration for the 5K is $35 before September 15, increasing to $40 thereafter, while the Fun Run costs $25 early and $35 closer to race day. Aimed at raising awareness and funds for Type1 diabetes, the MMT1 Foundation also provides financial assistance and educational resources for those in need.
