Race Description
The MLK Unity Run is set to take place on January 19, 2025, beginning at 8 AM in Montclair, NJ. Organized by Fleet Feet Montclair, Black Men Run Northern NJ Chapter, and Brooks, the event honors the legacy of Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, featuring a 5k route starting at Nishuane Park.
In recognition of MLK Day as a Day of Service, participants are encouraged to bring toiletries for donation to Toni's Kitchen, which can be dropped off at Nishuane Park from 8 to 9 AM or at Fleet Feet Montclair from January 17 to 19. Registrations for the event are currently open, providing an opportunity for community engagement and remembrance.
