Race Description
The Mindful Messages - Mural Scavenger Hunt is set to take place on October 20, 2024, in Gainesville, Florida. This unique event combines the excitement of a scavenger hunt with a 5k race, allowing participants to explore the city's vibrant murals while competing in teams of 3-10 runners. Registration is currently open, and teams can be formed ahead of time or on race day.
Participants in the event will work together to locate up to seven murals hidden throughout downtown Gainesville. Teams will be led by Enoch Nadler, a two-time Olympic Marathon Trials Qualifier and coach of the Team Florida Track Club, ensuring a well-organized and engaging experience. The event will feature awards for the top teams, including categories for all-women and all-men teams, creating an inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
