Race Description
Miles for Migraine will be hosting its 8th annual event consisting of a 2-mile walk, a 5K run, and Relax Milwaukee Event on October 6, 2024, at Burke Lake Park in Fairfax Station, Virginia. This fundraising event aims to raise awareness for migraine and headache conditions while fostering community connections. Registration for the event is free, encouraging participation from individuals in the local area.
Participants in the event will receive finisher medals, and the 5K run will be professionally timed. Attendees are encouraged to dress in purple to participate in a special prize contest. All proceeds from the event will benefit the MedStar Georgetown Headache Clinic to enhance migraine research and training programs.
